Forbes House

In 2015, Forbes House provided 13,452 services to 1,100 clients. Residents totaled 6,060 bed stays and advocates answered 2,159 crisis calls.

The Community Outreach Advocate gave 128 presentations to 3,340 individuals at schools, jails, community organizations, businesses, and more.

Lake County

There were 791 domestic violence incidents in Lake County* that were reported to the police in 2015. These incidents are categorized as follows:

  • 461 resulting in a domestic violence charge
  • 26 incidents – charge other than domestic violence filed
  • 304 domestic violence incidents – no charges filed

A total of 72,899 domestic dispute calls were made to the police departments in Ohio** in 2015. These phone calls were categorized as follows:

  • 38,343 domestic violence incidents
  • 3,693 incidents – charge other than domestic violence filed
  • 30,863 domestic violence incidents – no charges filed
